PLUS srl is a private company founded in 2011 by 3 engineers with advanced competencies in the field of computer science and numerical analysis applied to the design process. The company has a workforce of more than 10 units including employees, interns, trainees, scholarship holders. PLUS is based in Area Science Park, Site of Basovizza, Trieste. The core mission of PLUS is to support companies to achieve the digital transformation of IT infrastructure through the maximization of the data to knowledge conversion rate. To achieve this goal the company provides services and develops software solutions that automate the information retrieval and create reliable data warehouses. Dedicated software solutions and professional services are provided in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Prototyping and Computer Science by a skilled team of coders, data scientists and engineers. PLUS has been involved in regional funded projects in the development of data portals (POR-FESR project NUTRIACT) or screening algorithms using state of the art machine learning techniques (POR-FESR projects Nati in FVG and HPV Selfie) together with together with the research and clinical centers of e.g. the Universities of Trieste and Udine, the District Health Authority of Gorizia and the Burlo Garofolo Children Hospital of Trieste.
